Shalom is more than just a general greeting or a well-wishing of “peace”.
Strong’s Concordance #7965 states that “Shalom” means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.
Shalom comes from the root verb “shalom” meaning to be complete, perfect and full.
So when we say “shalom” to someone we are breathing life into them, speaking peace and health over them…and blessing them with wholeness in every way that
Yahweh can bring wholeness to us: in a health sense, an emotional sense, a financial sense,
a relational sense, a spiritual sense…everything.
And what IS Naturopathy?
“Naturopathy
is a philosophy which encompasses a view of life, a model for living a
full life. The word naturopathy is a Latin-Greek hybrid which can be
defined as ‘being close to or benefiting from
nature.’” — Stewart Mitchell, Naturopathy:
